Golf
There are a number of golf courses in the Steamboat Springs area to choose from. The Haymaker Golf Course is a 233-acre course with deep bunkers surrounded by streams and natural grasslands. The Rollingstone Ranch Golf Club is complete with tumbling streams, dramatic tee shots and the demands of golf in all its facets. The Steamboat Golf Club is the oldest established golf course in the valley with a 9 hole course that borders the Yampa River featuring beautiful views of the valley and Steamboat ski mountain. The Haymaker Golf CourseAbout: The Haymaker Golf Course is a 233-acre course with a unique Scottish feel. Come play the rolling fairways and deep bunkers surrounded by streams and natural grasslands. This 18-hole championship golf course designed by Keith Foster features a full practice facility, pro shop and the Staxx New West Bar & Grill. Appropriate golf attire is required while on property at the discretion of management. No soiled/ worn jeans, sweats, t-shirts, tank tops or halter tops. Location: The course is located 3 miles east of Steamboat Springs at the junction of U.S. Highway 40 and State Highway 131. Tee Times: Tee Times are arranged when you make your reservation, and golfers are asked to check in with the pro shop 30 minutes prior to tee time. All tee times must be cancelled at least 7 days prior to receive a refund. Course fees include use of the practice range, but do not include practice balls. Rates

The Rollingstone Ranch Golf ClubAlong the flanks of Mt. Werner, the course is complete with tumbling streams, dramatic tee shots and the demands of golf in all its facets. The bluegrass/ryegrass fairways are framed by aspens and evergreens on most of the holes. Changes in elevation will test even the best shot maker. Even as your shots are challenged by rolling bentgrass/poa annua greens and sixty-six bunkers, the stunning views of the Flat Top Mountains and the Yampa Valley are guaranteed to take your mind off your score, at least for a few minutes! The Steamboat Golf ClubFounded in 1964, the Steamboat Golf Club is the oldest established golf course in the valley. The 9 hole course borders the Yampa River featuring beautiful views of the valley and Steamboat ski mountain. Our brand new club house facility is now open, featuring a full bar with mixed drinks, cold beer, and food. The Steamboat Golf Club is family oriented and affordable.
