Wagon Rides
Wagon Rides are a great way to spend some vacation time with the family. It's a low impact activity with beautiful scenery on authentic Colorado ranches. Choose from Saddleback Ranch or the Elk River Guest Ranch. Saddleback RanchA 8,000 acre fourth generation, family owned and operated, working cattle ranch located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains 15 miles west of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Escape to Saddleback Ranch to enjoy a relaxing day of riding, working cattle and seeing some gorgeous scenery. It is a day you will never forget! Saddleback Ranch is family owned and operated by the Iacovetto family. When you come to Saddleback you’re not only a cowboy for a day, but part of the family. Long pants and sturdy shoes are recommended. Guest may want to bring a jacket. When you arrive at the lodge you will be welcomed with cold drinks and given a chance to take in the scenery before dinner. After dinner take a chance and let us teach you how to calf rope. At the end of the evening you will enjoy the ride home viewing the beautiful Colorado sunset from the wagon. Guest meet at the ranch at 5:30pm. Rates

Elk River Guest RanchStart with a horse drawn wagon ride along Elk River with views of Sawtooth Ridge and the Continental Divide. Then after the ride, roast hot dogs and S'mores over a roaring bonfire and enjoy drinks in the Silhouette Saloon. Hot dogs are healthy Coleman all natural, uncured beef (no nitrates, hormones or antibiotics). Buns, fixin's, chips and s'mores are included, $3/extra hot dog. Cash bar is available in the Saloon; drinks range from $1 to $6 or wine by the bottle $18 and up. Rates
