No matter what the season, Steamboat Springs has both outdoor and indoor tennis courts available for year round play. With everything from brand new RSS 500 cushioned-indoor hard courts to outdoor clay and hard courts, there is something for everyone.

The Tennis Center at Steamboat Springs

Located at the base of beautiful Mt. Werner ski mountain, the outdoor and indoor tennis center offers the following:

  • 6 brand new RSS 500 cushioned-indoor hardcourts
  • 6 outdoor hydrocourt clay courts
  • 4 outdoor hard courts

Other tennis center information:

  • Host local, state, sectional and national tournaments.
  • Private and group instruction with a tennis pro. Drill clinics also available throughout the week.
  • Fully stocked pro shop and professional racquet repair services
  • Ball machines and top-of-the-line demo raquets are available for rental

Howelsen Hill

The Howelsen Hill tennis courts are located downtown at the base of the Howelsen Hill Ski Area. There are a total of 2 courts which are free to use on a first-come first-served basis.

Old Town Hot Springs Tennis Program

The Old Town Hot Springs Tennis Program has three courts located at 3rd & Oak St. There are 10 parking spots available on site.

  • Lessons are taught by our head tennis pro, Lynne Meyers
  • Junior Tennis Clinics are taught by tennis pro Robert Martens.
